Prints by Heidi Pedretti Heidi
was born and raised here in Elkader, Iowa. She attended Mount
Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, majoring in graphic design.
Since
2002, she has been a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers
and Illustrators. She was picked from hundreds of nominees to
attend their national conference in 2004 and was chosen as coordinator
and webmaster for their Iowa website in 2005. Heidi currently
lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband and baby daughter. To
